Thats really good that you’re learning this at the age of 13 because if you decide to go to fashon school, by that time your sketching skills in fashion will be really good! and you would have more of a feel of how you draw out your clothes! So thats really good you’re learning how to do this now

Well I learnt a model body in sketches have to look good also, maybe not 100% atonomy right, but it has to have great shapes that fit the outfit, since big designers base the sketched model on a real life model that has the same body as the sketch.

The main thing to remember about fashion sketches is not to get too caught up in making the body look “good” or “right.” The focus of the sketch is the clothes, not the model.

I rather use pantone markers than color pencils but thats up to the designer, you can mix too.. the length of the body should be 12″ in length

Would it be wrong to use “anime/manga” type drawings for fashion sketches?

Hey Threadbanger. i am an art mager in iceland. i am designing clothes and stuff like that. but the problem is that, i know i can draw but not like the woman in the video. so i was thinking if there are some sites, magazines or something like that , that can help me design with more fashion-sence :] i would be really thankfull.
